July 9, 1975 (5th post): A perverse people seek signs and wonders and so many who are against me truly perverse. They try to manipulate God at each service, creating fear and then imaginary deliverances from demon possession. People act out what they believe, whether its true or not and then their leaders justify the continuation of such unethical behavior on the basis or their “results”, results they have created!

July 9, 1975 (4th post): Pastor Earl Waterman offers up conclusive proof that so-called “Deliverance Ministries” are prophetic fulfillment of latter days “doctrines of demons”.

July 9, 1975 (3rd post): A letter arrives from “Christian friends” who tell Cindy to leave me because I have a demon. We go for counselling to three pastors and all of them call it nonsense founded on fear. We read Paul’s letter to Timothy where he says prophetically that “in the latter time many will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons” and understand it has come to pass. We realize they hate me because I dare stand up to them and tell them they’re wrong!

July 9, 1975 (2nd post): Ignorance and lack of love continue to pour forth from the misguided souls that gather at Springwater Habitation.

July 9, 1975 Wednesday: The “miracle” Perth, NB farm for our community falls through. Cindy and I return to Springwater Habitation where some of our closest friends considered us worse than non-believers and dis-fellowshipped us. We have forgiven and moved on, they have not, still falsely accusing us.

May 27, 1975 (4th post): Continuing struggles with discerning God’s will, especially with regards Christian community.

May 27, 1975 (3rd post): Our position as house parents at Crossroads youth ministry continues. Great success for some residents, others carry their problems with them, affecting the harmony of everyone here.

May 27, 1975 (2nd post): We discover the deal of a lifetime, $37,500 for a 476 acre farm and experience a total eclipse of the moon on the way to see it. Cindy and I give a talk to street kids of Dan’s church, on natural foods and show them how easy it is to prepare natural meals.

May 27, 1975: In St. John, New Brunswick, we make new friends and re-focus on creating a Christian community. Pastor Switzer’s son, Doug, finally surrenders to Christ and stops doing drugs.

May 9, 1975 (6th post): Having listed what brings us joy, we now list what upsets us about traditional Christians and Christianity, things we believe are contrary to the teachings of Jesus and the bible, yet most Christians continue to do them.
